Admission Policy
The new admission policy It has been in force since January 01, 2025.
IFS-I message
The revised admissions policy is now in effect for people coming from the US, Canada and Mexico. All residents of these countries enrolling in Level 1 courses organized by IFS Institute or IFS Institute International Partners must adhere to the revised admissions policy.
If you apply to participate in a course organized by an International Partner and you come from a country other than the USA, Canada or Mexico, the Admission criteria will remain unchanged. We are working on revising the course admissions policy for international partners for the future and will do our best to communicate any such changes in advance.
This means that people who are not designated as therapists and who are not from the US, Canada and Mexico will still be able to apply for international training, as long as they can demonstrate a professional scope of practice for the use of the IFS Model. However, we want to clarify that acceptance into a training does not mean that a participant will meet the requirements for IFS Certification, which can be found here Certification – IFS Institute. If your goal is to obtain IFS Certification as a therapist or practitioner, it is your responsibility to review the IFS Certification policy and Frequently Asked Questions to determine if you qualify.
