  • Number of participants: The IFS Institute of Madrid reserves the right to cancel or postpone a program if the minimum number of places is not reached. In case of cancellation by the Institute, a full refund of the amount paid will be made.

Minor warnings

To enroll in programs, you must be at least 18 years old or the legal age of majority in your province, territory or country. Persons under 18 years of age (or under the age of majority applicable in the region) may use the service under the supervision of their parents or legal representatives through the account of such responsible persons and these Terms of Service will apply to them. .

Obligations of buyers of programs and services

Purchase confirmation

You will know when the registration has been formalized when you have received an email with the purchase confirmation. Once the purchase process is completed, a confirmation of the contract made will be sent to the indicated email address, which will serve as proof of the operation (Proof of contract), along with a copy of these general conditions, and of the particular conditions where applicable; as well as the withdrawal form, and other documentation. The confirmation of the contract and its receipt will not be valid as an invoice.

As a customer, You acknowledge that the identification numbers and passwords assigned to you to access the training are personal and non-transferable., being solely responsible for the consequences that may arise from their misuse, disclosure or loss.

In the event of non-compliance with this prohibition, the client will be solely responsible for the acts carried out by the natural or legal person who uses the client's identifier in an unauthorized manner.

Languages

The language of the content offered in the INSTITUTO IFS DE MADRID subscription is Spanish or English. Some training will have consecutive or simultaneous translation.

Prices and taxes

Conditions of access and use of the campus

Express prohibitions

Misuse of access credentials: The use of the client name and personal and non-transferable access code by more than one person at the same time is prohibited. Any activity that involves fraudulent use of access credentials will be sanctioned and may result in exclusion from the platform.

Violation of intellectual property rights: It is strictly prohibited to carry out activities that violate the intellectual property rights of the IFS INSTITUTE OF MADRID. This includes unauthorized reproduction, distribution or use of content protected by copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights.

Disrespect and inappropriate behavior: Any lack of respect towards those responsible for the IFS INSTITUTE OF MADRID or towards other participants of the platform is prohibited. Improper use of classes or content: Participants must use the classes and content provided exclusively for the purpose provided for in the contracted program. It is prohibited to use them for other unauthorized purposes or purposes other than the established educational purpose.

Disclosure of private information: It is prohibited to share information about other participants publicly that creates a security or privacy risk for them. Respect for the confidentiality and privacy of all participants is essential.

Violation of third party rights: Any activity that violates the privacy rights, publicity rights, copyrights, trademark rights, contractual rights or any other rights of any person is prohibited.

In the event that non-compliance with any of these prohibitions is detected, we reserve the right to deny access to the corresponding program or service and take the necessary measures to guarantee the proper functioning of the platform. It should be noted that exclusion due to non-compliance with these rules will not give rise to any type of compensation.

It is the responsibility of each participant to read, understand, and abide by these prohibitions to ensure a safe and respectful learning environment for all involved.

Non-payment of quotas

The consequences of non-payment in programs with monthly or quarterly payments are the following:

Suspension of access to content: If payment is not made, the participant's access to program content may be suspended or blocked. This means that you will not be able to continue accessing the program's lessons, materials or resources until payment is regularized.

Discontinuation of additional services: In the event of non-payment, additional services that are part of the program may be suspended or discontinued. This may include group sessions, one-on-one support, or other exclusive benefits. You will not be able to access these services until the corresponding payment has been made.

Cancellation of participation IFS INSTITUTE OF MADRID reserves the right to cancel the participant's participation in the program. This could result in the termination of the contract and the exclusion of the participant from future activities related to INSTITUTO IFS DE MADRID.

Buyer's rights: withdrawal and cancellations

In training programs:

Cancellation, returns and refunds

The return and refund conditions for the training and courses offered by the IFS INSTITUTE OF MADRID are established as follows:

Cancellations at least 30 days before the start of the course: If you cancel a training at least 30 days before the first day of the course, you will be entitled to a refund of the amount paid. However, a 15% discount will be applied for administrative expenses.

Initial payment to reserve a place: The amount of the initial payment made to reserve a place will not be refundable in any case. This payment is intended to ensure your participation and guarantee the proper organization of the course.

Course feasibility: It is important to keep in mind that the viability of each course is subject to reaching the minimum number of places required. If this minimum number is not reached, the course will be canceled and a full refund of the amount paid will be made.

It is essential to highlight that these return and refund conditions are applicable only to cancellations that are made in accordance with the established deadlines and requirements. Any cancellation made outside the specified deadlines will not be refundable.

If you need to cancel your participation in a training or course, we recommend that you do so within the established deadlines to be able to access the return and refund conditions mentioned above.

Compliance of contracted services and guarantees

Liability will not apply for lack of conformity in those cases where the description of the training coincides with what was informed to the client at the time of the conclusion of the contract.

Disclaimer of liability

When contracting any of the programs offered by INSTITUTO IFS DE MADRID, the USER acts under their own responsibility and must verify that they are in suitable conditions to carry out the contracted program.

INSTITUTO IFS DE MADRID does not assume any guarantee about the results or lack of results of its programs, since these depend largely on the degree of involvement of each client.

The training program aims to provide knowledge and train IFS skills to incorporate them at a professional level and in everyday life. While every reasonable effort will be made to ensure an enriching learning experience, individual results may vary. The results obtained depend on the commitment, dedication and application of each participant. IFS INSTITUTE OF MADRID does not guarantee the achievement of specific results nor assumes responsibility for the lack of application or inappropriate use of the knowledge acquired.

In this way, the Client agrees to assume these circumstances within reasonable limits, expressly waiving any claim against INSTITUTO IFS DE MADRID for any contractual or extra-contractual liability for possible failures, errors or use of the contracted program.

INSTITUTO IFS DE MADRID will not be responsible in any case for errors or damages caused by the inefficient and bad faith use of the service by the Client or the platform on which the programs are hosted.

Nor will it be responsible for the consequences derived from the lack of communication between INSTITUTO IFS DE MADRID and the Client when it is attributable to the malfunction of the email or telephone provided or to the error of the data provided by the Client in their initial personal data sheet for carry out the program.

INSTITUTO IFS DE MADRID will not guarantee the continuous and uninterrupted availability of the service that is the subject of this contract, nor will it be responsible for the loss of data hosted in LEARNDASH, interruptions of commercial activities or any damage derived from the operation of the services. Likewise, it will not guarantee the expectations generated by the Client as a result of said interruptions.

INSTITUTO IFS DE MADRID reserves the right to make changes to the content, instructors, dates, times or other aspects of the program. These changes will be communicated to participants in a timely manner and will not give rise to additional claims or compensation.

IFS INSTITUTE OF MADRID will not be responsible in any case for:

  • Causes beyond their control and fortuitous causes or force majeure.
  • Breakdowns caused by incorrect use by the Client, especially derived from contracting an inappropriate service for the type of activity and use carried out by the Client and/or by third parties through their website.
  • Scheduled stops and/or alterations in previously agreed content for maintenance or carrying out exceptional actions.
  • Viruses, computer attacks and/or other actions of third parties that totally or partially prevent the provision of services.
  • Internet malfunction.
  • Other unforeseeable circumstances.

In this way, the Client agrees to assume these circumstances within reasonable limits, expressly waiving any claim against INSTITUTO IFS DE MADRID for any contractual or extra-contractual liability for possible failures, errors or use of the contracted service.

Data Protection

In accordance with the provisions of Regulation EU 2016/679, of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016. (GDPR), I inform you that, by accepting these contract terms and the Privacy Policy, you give your informed, express, free and unequivocal consent for the Data you provide to be processed by INSTITUTO DE IFS DE MADRID as data controllers.

All information received from the client, whether images, emails, texts, access data such as clients and passwords, will be treated confidentially, and transfer to third parties is completely prohibited.

Confidential information will not be understood to be that which is disclosed by agreement between the Parties, that which becomes public for the same reason or that which must be revealed in accordance with the laws or with a judicial resolution of a competent authority and that which is obtained by a third party who is not under any obligation of confidentiality. Both parties agree to comply with the duty of confidentiality indefinitely.

Intellectual property and prohibitions

The content available on the platform constitutes a work of intellectual property whose rights correspond to the authors of the training, INSTITUTO DE IFS DE MADRID, and are protected by international laws and conventions.

Any form of reproduction, distribution, public communication, transformation, making available and, in general, any other act of public exploitation referring to both the courses and their contents, is prohibited without the express and prior written consent of the authors.

Any act by virtue of which clients of the services or content can exploit or use commercially to replicate them in their own programs, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, of any of the contents, images, forms, indexes and other expressions is prohibited. formalities that form part of the programs without prior written permission of the authors.

Specifically, but without limitation, acts of reproduction, distribution, display, transmission, retransmission, broadcast in any form, storage on physical or logical media, digitization or making available from databases other than those belonging to the authorized by the authors, as well as their translation, adaptation, arrangement or any other transformation of said programs, images, forms, indexes and other formal expressions that are made available to clients through the courses or contents, as such acts are subject to the applicable legislation on intellectual and industrial property or image protection.

Jurisdiction and applicable laws

These general conditions of use and contract are governed by Spanish law.

In accordance with article 29 of Law 34/2002, of July 11, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce, electronic contracts between businessmen or professionals, in the absence of an agreement between the parties, will be presumed to have been concluded in the place where the service provider is established.

In the event of a dispute arising from these general conditions and for the resolution of conflicts, the parties submit, at their free choice, and waiving any other jurisdiction that may correspond to them, to the courts and tribunals of the domicile of the responsible provided in these contract conditions.
